NEW Steyr A2 MF Handgun – You Gotta See This

Steyr unveiled their new pistol at Shot Show that many gun enthusiasts were anticipating. It’s called the Steyr A2 MF (modular frame). This new model from Steyr offers shooters to personally customize the grip to fit their hand-size. Shooters can now inter-change various sizes of grip panels and back-straps to suit the perfect grip for them. Add to that, Steyr added more aggressive texturing for a firm purchase that increases control of the pistol when shooting.

Streamlight MicroStream Review

Shortly after giving a friend my Streamlight Stylus Pro, I realized that I was missing an important part of my EDC, a not-so-bright light that I can just pull out fast for inspection purposes. I had already been looking at the MicroStream due to it’s size and price; for $15 and Streamlight’s reputation how could one go wrong?

CMMG Banshee 300 Mk4 in 300 BLK – Not Your Typical AR Pistol

Rock Island Armory’s NEW VR80 Semi-Auto Shotgun for 2019

Rock Island Armory recently introduced a new shotgun to their lineup called the VR80. The RIA VR80 is a semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun that uses a five shell box magazine and a gas piston system that functions smooth and flawlessly. It will accept both 2 3/4 and 3 inch shotgun shells. The lower receiver and fore-end hand-guard are made of anodized aluminum which adds weight (9 pounds loaded with five shells) to the shotgun thus decreasing the felt recoil. The polymer stock has a connecting arm to the grip that gives it a different look as Rock Island calls it a thumb-hole stock. The VR80 comes with flip up rear and front sights along with three chokes (cylinder bore, modified and full) which is a nice touch for a shotgun that has an MSRP of $699.

FN FNS-9c Review

My story with the FNS-9c is an interesting one. When I first got into firearms my first purchase was the CZ 75B…the runner up by a very close margin was the FN FNS-9 full size model. The balance was real nice and it felt good in the hand. Back in February while looking for a subcompact for possible summer carry, I toyed with a Glock 26, but ultimately didn’t like the size. As a bigger guy I can get by with concealing larger guns even for deep concealment. I checked out a few other subcompacts and I wasn’t really feeling them; I also wasn’t considering a single stack at that point.
