As ignorant liberals spout off their anti-gun make believe fallacies, pro-gun Missouri State Representative Andrew McDaniel wrote a bill that would mandate the purchase of an AR15. All Missouri residents between the ages of 18 – 34 would have one year to purchase an AR15 rifle. The state would even offer a tax credit that the purchaser can use to deduct against their income. The bill is called the McDaniel Militia Act. It also requires over the age of 21 to own a handgun. Is this crazy? No, it’s brilliant and this is why.
When your reality does not match your training.
As many know, I am a strong believer and supporter of the words found in the 2nd Amendment, in particular “Shall Not Be Infringed”. I will concede that these words were written in a different society at a completely different time… but so was the 1st amendment, the 3rd, the 4th, the 5th, and so on and so forth.
As a gun owner, as an American, as a freedom lover I 100% believe in the Bill of Rights. The question I want to pose to you right now is…are you? Or are you just in it for the parts that you like? If you answered “I am” to the last question…how are you any different than those who want to abolish the 2nd Amendment?

Once your guns are gone, it will be too late to fight back.
We consistently hear the anti-gun lobby talk about reasonable restrictions. The issue here is that they don’t have the slightest clue as to how firearms work or what laws are already on the books. In order to have a discussion on what is or isn’t reasonable for any subject, subject matter experts (SME) are required. Without them being involved in the discussion, nothing reasonable can come out of said discussions.
Unfortunately this year I didn’t get to go to SHOT Show 2019, but I did get to see most of the things that were announced… some at SHOT, some that weren’t announced at SHOT. In this article I will be doing a “highlight reel” of my favorites and the things that I’m excited about.
Some time ago, we learned of Randall Sappington. What drew our attention to him was a couple of posts in the “Religion of Arms” Facebook group. What appeared to be staged photographs of Historical Firearms were actually paintings….his paintings. Once we knew what it was that we were looking at, we were blown away.
In the community there are three arguments on how one should reload their semi-automatic pistol. Some say to use the slide release, a very limited few say to jam the magazine in as hard as possible, and some say to just sling-shot the slide.
